So, I don’t know if you know, but there’s this pretty amazing person named Sara. She’s a blogger. But, more importantly she has very recently become one of my closest friends.
We’ve been chatting for the better part of a while (however long that is), sending each other amazing mail (support the postal system!), and honestly just chatting away like we lived down the street from each other.
But, we don’t.
In fact, we live ten hours away from each other.
But, through some slip in the universe, the stars aligned, and she happened to be coming within radius of me!
So, what did we do?
We ate pancakes, then went to Dollywood!
She claimed she hadn’t been on a rollercoaster in like fifteen years, but I found that pretty hard to believe, as she seemed like a pro.
Also, did I tell you how amazing she is? If I didn’t, here it is. She’s amazing.
And, at the end of the night, I some how convinced her to do an Escape Room with me? She’s was honestly a natural, and even though I look slightly off-kilter in this picture, let me tell you I was the happiest!
So, where was I going with this? Oh, right!
I’m going to quote from my Instagram post here.
Let me tell you something I’ve learned about people in the brief 20 years that I’ve been on this earth, so far. People come and go, people can hurt, people can make you cry in the good and bad. But, most crucially, people can come into your life and just make you the happiest and ask for absolutely nothing more than just being by your side. I’m proud to say I’ve crossed paths with a few of those people. But, this post is about one of those people in particular.
She’s a blogger.
She’s a reader.
But, most importantly, Sara is one of my closest friends. ❤
Thanks for making my birthday weekend the best! That was literally THE BEST DAY!
